Hello everyone!
Wecome to my blog. I have never done one before so this should be interesting. I guess you could compare it to Facebook, only you type a lot more. I look forward to learning more about how to do this.
I live in south Florida with my Australian cattle dog mix, Pacha. I rescued her from the shelter last November and since then she has been saving me every day! Target has been my place of employment for the last 8 years and I am a supervisor in the bakery. I get to enjoy all the cookies, cakes, pies, and breads!! My favorite kind of food! My life is pretty calm most of the time and I am thankful for that.
I am always up for an adventure if it comes along though!
While doing the Journey On relaxation exercise I found myself falling asleep. I am not sure whether this was because I was tired or because I was becoming very relaxed. The music and man's voice were very soothing.
Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI love your dog! I have a lab named Zelda and she is 1 yr old today. She is my destressor at times. When I am sad or stressed out Zelda will come over and I will talk to her and pet her and before long I am relaxed. There is much to be said for pet therapy.
I miss Target since I live in the remote area of northeast Nevada. In fact we are getting snow right now, in May! Do you do someof the baking there? I find making bread very relaxing. kneading the dough is a very cathartic.
I found the guys voice on the relaxation journey very calming but afterward I comared it to the voice of "deep thoughts" on saturday night live. I couldn't help but laugh.
I hope you post more of your dog she is cute.
Tammy
Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI would assume that it was a relaxing experience because you did find yourself falling alseep. Unless you were already completely exhausted and worn out, this exercise proved to work for you. I also thought it was very soothing and found it to be pretty darn relaxing. I wish I could have more time like that!
